Low Impact Development/Smart Growth
Eight Towns and the Bay is actively involved in the Essex County Community Foundation's Essex County Forum Steering Committee which is a grass-roots, county-wide smart growth initiative. We are also an active member of the Executive Office of Environmental Affairs' Low Impact Development Task Force. We have developed several PowerPoint Presentations on these subjects, which we present, at various forums, workshops, meetings and outreach events in our coastal region.
