Regional Storm Drain Stenciling Education Program
8T&B has worked with schools and community groups in Newburyport, Ipswich, and Gloucester. One facet of the program is stenciling storm drains with the words "Do not dump, drains to river (or marsh, or harbor)" to prevent contaminated waste from entering the storm drain system and polluting the connecting water body. The program raises public awareness of the impacts of stormwater pollution as well as people using the storm drains as a personal waste disposal system. 8T&B is available to provide stencils and educational resources to anyone in the region.
